I was as a Cook county state's attorney, where 55% of my associate attorneys are female and 49% of the Judges are female. All associates have equal pay.

Where is the sexism? There is now girls hockey teams in my area. Again, where is the sexism? The only possible answer is that some of these girls want to be on the men's team. Why? There is a girls team. The guys don't want women on their team. First, most girls cannot play physical contact sports against men. Second, even for the ones that can, guys don't want them there; guys would rather play against other guys as the male and femal body are very different, and guys measure their bodies/physical prowess against other guys, not girls.

There is equal opportunity for the girls to play hockey. What are they bitching about--that more people pay attention to the guys team? Well, that is b/c there is a higher quality of play d/t inherent strength and power advantages. That is biological. That is not going to change.

It is not that I do not think that they are intelligent people. It is just that I have lost respect for academia in general. At least, in my field. It just seems to be a self-perpetuating academy that cranks out "research" papers, many pointless, usually hashing over the same things that have been hashed over in the past.

I need to finish this degree but my Professors can tell I have this attitude -one told me directly yesterday that she knew that I think the whole thing is a joke.

(I am asking this here because its related to academics)

What does patriachy mean?

The feminists would have us beleive it is about power and greed over love and compassion and totally destructive to women and faimly, marrige and all social institutions.

Infact all cause of violence is the patriachy.

Why hasnt anybody heard of these feminists supporting marrige,man-woman relationships, faimly system????

And why do they advocate women joining the armed services????

The typical specimen of feminist that i have encountered here is not surprisingly like a young german in the Third Reich totally brainwashed by the Fuhrers demonic speeches.

But this a warning to them all remember Nuremberg trials????

Does that mean now that we are in the age where if you want something you have to fight for it and force it on others???

I read a few feminist responses "Feminism has to be forced"
If that is the case then what about rape isnt that also force against ones will???

Is conclusion that now the male will have to enforce his space??

I'm in a feminist studies class and the debate over masturbation came up. Many women claim they do not masturbate and very few will admit to it.

I am curious as to what the true statistic would be (as true as it could be) from anonymous women responses and possibly the reasons for not doing (if you don't).

Simply reply yes or no and add details if you'd like as to your opinions on the subject.

Regards,
g.harvey

In fact, what can we do to protect our sons from false legal accusations, in general. It seems, more and more, many women are accusing men, (especially rich men) falsey for money, advancement, power, or all. Such as the "Duke Lacross" case. How can we stop this injustice?

Women having equality with them? That some have to pretend to be women (like Happy Bullet) pretending to be Baba Yaga, in order to try and demoralize all women. Is this what the media does as well to keep women in their, "place"?

"Here's a snap brain quiz. Which sex uses, on average, about 20,000 words a day, in contrast to the 7000 uttered by the other sex? Who has two-and-a-half times the amount of brain space devoted to sexual drive, meaning they think about sex, on average, every 52 seconds? When their feelings are hurt by someone they love, which sex reacts by assuming the relationship is over? Who has larger sections of the brain for action and aggression? If you answered, in order, women, men, women, men, you've been watching too many Woody Allen movies. Now, science is confirming that Woody was right all along."

"Brizendine points to a study of 10,000 people across 37 different cultures, that reveals women are less interested in how a man looks and more interested in his wallet and social standing."

The book is at:

http://www.louannbrizendine.com/

"Hormones and Phases of a Female's Life"

Where she says that our entire brain changes depending on which week of our period we are in!!

So come on, we know the brains are exactly equal, why listen to the hundreds of studies cited in the book? Is this just the latest manifestation of patriarchal logic and science oppressing women?!

How can the misuse and abuse of these laws be justified just because the percentage of misuse is less compared to the geniuine use of these laws???

If absolute equality and liberation is to be acheived by women from men then shouldn't each and every female have integrity and character???

Sounds tough but then thats what the fairer sex will have to do if they really want equality and liberation because in the end all that is happening right now is at the mercy of future events because no actual change has taken place atleast in the hearts and minds?

Maybe the feminists should have taken some lessons from some top marketing experts ehhhhh???

The day this happens i will rest my case and never ask a question or start any awakenings.

Since they are a lot more emotional than men and will let emotions take over where men will control their emotions and not let them effect them too much.

I see a lot of women who cry for no reason, one time one of my friends (who is a girl) was crying at school because her boyfriend's car wouldn't start and she couldn't see him. This woman in particular seems to be oversensitive but on the all don't women cry too much? and let their emotions control them?

What are your opinions?

If girls want to play on football and hockey teams; should they also have to dress in the same locker room. I mean, if it is ok for men and women to beat each other up on the ball field, what purpose does separate dressing facilities serve?

The only answer would be that it would be uncomfortable for a women to change in front of all men. But if that is the argument, what about the fact it is uncomfortable for a guy to play a contact sport against a women

Abortion = Deadbeat parents?

I know it is politically incorrect to say the following but here goes. Having studied the systemic attack of fathers, and now parents over the last 30 years in our social services, I note that today, the government is going after 'deadbeat' parents.

First they were called 'deadbeat fathers', now they are called 'deadbeat parents', why such a negative name ?

Consider the people who kill their unborn children through abortion, they should be called 'deadbeat' parents. Parents who do not support their children financially should not be called 'deadbeat' parents, for they at least gave life to their children ?

Bottom line, the system has been corrupted to attack fathers, now parents, (that mothers and fathers), it is plain to me.

Deadbeat parent = Abortion ?

In the US, women can't be in front line combat, and can't get drafted. This is sexist.

Nothing makes me less draftable than my male friends and my boyfriend. I merely lack a Y chromosome. If you're going to have a draft, pick your quota and have it be half male, half female. Then put women on the front lines.

We can't cherrypick what defines equality. I have seen no feminists trying to get rid of traditional female advantages.

First off, in the interest of equality, if we want to have equality we should let men devote themselves to being fathers.

Second, if women are going to go have careers (which I fully support) someone has to take care of the kids, you know?

Are there any feminist/masculist organizations that support stay-at-home fathers, or any recently passed laws to help?

Is there anything I as a teenage girl can do to try and help the cause? My dad raised me until I was four, when he had to get a job. I think he did a damn fine job.

Why do single women almost always hang out in groups, whether it is at a mall or club/bar or social events? I can understand the reason for security (i.e. to protect themselves from jerks confronting them) & also the reason for just having a good time, like guys do too.

But women have to realize that hanging out in groups intimidate a lot of men from approaching them. Even the man who is confident or brave enough to approach a woman he finds attractive, is more likely to be a bad or abusive jerk. A good-natured, intelligent man with a high-paying job that women crave for is generally not confident in approaching a woman when she's in a group. They feel that it is indecent to single out a person from a group & then getting laughed at by the group, upon rejection - I'm speaking from personal experience & friends' opinions.
