~Actually, killing a baby is homicide. Stopping an unwanted, parasitic bio-chemical reaction in one's body is perfectly legal, much like removing a cancer.

"Why is gay marriage even an issue? ' I couldn't agree more: whose business is it anyway? We have 'gay marriage' in Canada and have had for some time now. Contrary to what the cranks were predicting, the our country did NOT fall apart. Nobody cares anymore. It has become a non-issue.

EDIT:
"That country has no moral compass..." Yes, and that's why accross the world you see massive anti-Canadian demonstrations, Canadian flag-burning, our embassies being attacked...why our aggressive foreign policy has us constantly in trouble with the UN, EVEN with our own allies...it's why so many Canadian travellers choose to self-identify as Americans - we understand how hated we are the whole word over, and that this is because we lack a 'moral compass'...

~If you aren't an American, which I know you aren't, what do you care? I got it, you're a homophobic! You dig men! That is why you're always putting women down. You stay in the USA because you want to marry a gay man, oh my gosh, I can't believe that's how simple your problem is. Good luck with that.~

Should the government have jurisdiction over the crap inside your colon? Abortions take place EVERYWHERE. The USA is still one of the few countries, making a big fat deal over it. If every other country can mind their own damn business, then why cant Americans mind their own damn business? Here we are invading countries and going to war having the nerve to call these people backwards, while we are busy trying to take the rights of women away. AMAZING!!

Actually the constitution of the united states, the supreme law of the land, prohibits our lawmakers from establishing religion. If you can give me a non-religious reason why we should legislate against abortion or marriage i will consider it, until then congress can do nothing .

I don't care if two people of the same sex want to form a legal union. How will that hurt me?Do you think the gays will stop doing what they are doing if they can't form a legal union? To kill a baby? If you mean abortion and I am sure you do that is between them and God, only God can judge a person. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!"

killing a baby is illegal. aborting a fetus is legal. i think gay marriage should be legal also. a woman has a right to chose, as anyone should be able to. although i don't encourage abortion, i tend to try and impress upon people to carefully review their choices. i do not villanize their choices, whatever they may be, because i am not them and i do not know their situation.

yeah, i'm a liberal feminist pagan, so what?!
at least i'm not a self-righteous judgemental jerk.

Nope. Killing babies is illegal in America. Your state probably has a drop-off law in which you can drop off your baby at a fire station or a hospital if you don't want him.
