Personally, I hate spiders. If I see one, and it's in a difficult place for killing, I hunt that bastard down! I won't be able to sleep until I see it dead. The funny thing is that most of the men I know are afraid, too. So, don't be a sexist.

Giosp ... Is it okay to answer if I'm not a woman?

Whenever I see a spider, I try to send it on its way. On the other hand, if my WIFE sees a spider, she lets out the kind of yell you'd expect to hear if she found a burglar in our home.

That brings me running toward the source of the scream to see what's going on. Then she points and says, "SPIDER!" Then I take my frustration out on the spider and he's done for. Never had a chance.

Some day a spider is going to cause me to have a heart attack.

If it's a normal spider, I take it outside. If it's a brown recluse, I smash it. We have way too many in this area, and I won't take any chances, especially since they're "indoor" spiders and will just come right back inside.

What's with all the spider q's? And how is this related to women's studies?

I have a central vacuum cleaner. I take the end off, so it's a hose, and vacuum the spiders up.

Neither - I get as far away as possible and screech until my husband comes in and kills it. I hate spiders worse than any other thing in the world

Honestly, I have a tendency to just let them do their thing unless they're poisonous. Otherwise I'll kill it, and hunt it down if I have to. But most the time I just don't see the point.

Smash it with anything I can get my hands on, then get paper towel and clean up any mess. I also like to wipe the area down with Lysol or pine-sol since I am not sure if they carry germs or not. Figure better safe than sorry.

I grab the most convenient object near me, and I smash it quick. I do not have time to sit around and figure out whether its poisonous or not, I just assume most of the little ones are, and so I hurry up and smash them before they can bite me in the middle of the night lol.

I set it free if possible. I find a clear tub or jar and let it climb in, then I put it outside.

HTH : )
