what do you relate to them? I've noticed that many people in this section (many women, surprisingly) denounce feminism and generalize feminists as man-hating, anti-religion, violent, boorish people. Why is that? Do you think that the media puts a bad face on feminism? What do you think of when you hear the word feminism?

I watched my brother's high school hockey team play a team with a girl on it, even though this other team had a separate girls hockey team. Now, after hearing many arguments on this issue, I guess the girl does have a right to play on the boy's team.

However, if that is the case, all the guys who were not able to make the team, should be able to play on the girls team.

However, feminists want it both ways. They want girls to be able to play with the guys, but also want as many girls playing these sports as possible since they know that if there were no gender classifications in physical sports like hockey and football, that at least 90% of the players would be men, due to inherent physical strength and physical aggression advantages.

This is wrong. Either prohibit girls from playing on guys teams, or get rid of gender classifications for sure. And if they get rid of gender classifications, what the number of female athletes drop significantly.

I would say that it's more acceptable to badmouth men in western society. Oprah, self-help books, late night talk shows; they all seem to casually make negative blanket statements about men that wouldn't be acceptable if the counterpart was said about women. Whenever I've read a self-help book, the example difficult person is a male, more than 1/2 the time. The shows that do badmouth women are much more obvious and extreme, like Tom Leykis or The Man Show. Even Loveline, where women are badmouthed by both Adam and Dr. Drew, men are badmouthed at least as often. Neither sex is more than a slight bit better or worse than the other, all things considered, right?

why nowdays a lot females involved in horseriding sports and it became a sport for women participate most of the country...........

I knew this German lady for more than two years... she lived in Germany and came to me here every other month... Stephanie was so emotional and caring.

I am coming over a depression caused by my ex when he left me 8 months ago. When we were together he was depressed and felt suicidal at times. He wanted me to be there for him and have me to talk to and I did because I cared. Through-out this he would not anwser his phone, tell me he would commit suicide by the end of teh school year, he was a teacher. Eventually he told me had a child w some one night stand before we met, and was ashamed and not ready for being a father. So I helped him, only for him to be emotioanlly stable to leave me and get to know the mother of the child. I understand in a way how things can happen, however..he turned so cold to me, him and this girl made me feel so bad about myself, she called me and told me things he said about me to her that weren't nice. You know, I never did anything to him but help him, we never fought. Its one thing to have feelings for someone else, but why did he have to devalue me. Ok, who in your opinion should receive 2 subsidized units that we have available? We have a married couple who has no income. We would house them separately (if they are picked) because the husband often abuses the wife.

Or....should we give the two units to 2 other individuals (a female and male of no relation) who both have no income and have no support whatsoever in the form of family.

In todays times it is even more important because of terrorism?
When is the society going to give these females equality?
