Yes, I have always wondered why the 'no picture' often showed a picture of a man..
I think it should be a smiley face or something withought a gender. Afterall, isn't one of the reasons why we choose the 'no picture' option because we don't want to reveal what our gender is?

lol. I wondered that too. I had to go get an avatar to show everyone that i have a vag. It's still a sexist world, that's all. That's right, Yahoo! is sexist!

If you're refering to sharing pictures when you're chatting with someone, if satisfies their nature urge to grade you as a potential mate. Women are, in my experience, satisfied with the details of what you look like and your interests, but men usually aren't that imaginative. :) we need to "see" it for ourselves.
