I think the REAL question should be WHY she is negligent around the house! Does she have a husband who constantly belittles her and makes her feel worthless? Does she haul kids around to a gazillion activities, or work a gazillion hours a day in a job outside the home? Does her husband plop down in HIS recliner with HIS remote ordering her to do this and that while he sits there doing nothing? I find there are too many OTHER questions to answer this one....

A lazy husband who does nothing around the house is worthless too. Women are not meant to stay at home and clean the house, they only do in deluded minds.

a person's worth is determined by many things, and i doubt that a woman who doesn't do housework is worthless! my ex used to say that about me, when i would ask him to pick up after himself, and it made me give up on what i DID do. (i was a full time student and kept the house clean--until HE got home) women are not slaves or servants!! women who work full time should not be expected to do all the housework as well, and any ONE that won't do their share is a lout.

It's none of your business unless she's your wife. And if she is, then what do you do around the house? Does she work outside the home? If she does, then her husband should do half the work. And if she has small children, she needs help whether she works outside the home or not.

Well, it depends!
If you both work and you don't want to do anything in the house, then no, why should she do anything if you don't?
If you both work and you do things in or around the house, yes, she should definitely move her *ss off the couch!
If she doesn't work and YOU work, same as 2nd answer.
If you don't work and she works, you should be the one cleaning, and she should help a little.
If neither of you works, then same answer as 2nd.

You bet! If she isn't bringing in any money to support, she should be taking care of the house. Did you promise her a free ride when you got married or did you both agree to do it together? Everyone should carry their own weight to make it work. If she isn't doing anything to help you, dump her, she is bringing you down.
