Poor weaklings maybe they shouldnt get the draft after ehhh?

Why should this happen to those few ladies who had the moral courage to fight for their country?
I served in forces had this happened when i was in service i would have hounded those men out of the service .

These ladies are the few who lead by example and they are the only hope of a harmonious,balanced and just equality but we of the banana species had to mess it up as well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Women do not belong in the military.

Stop trying to act like a man to prove you're equal. Different does not mean unequal!

So we're damned if we do, damned if we don't, eh? You criticize women for not being "drafted" (even though there's no such thing) and when "someone" suggests that when given the right to serve on the front lines, the draft would follow, you criticize feminists for THAT, too. (quote: "I thought feminists were supposed to believe war is abhorrent") I think you're just disappointed that you didn't back anyone into a corner. Well, I think war IS abhorrent, but women who choose the military as a career should be able to serve in ALL capacities, and while I think the "draft" is a violation of human rights (if such a thing is to exist again), women should be drafted, too, because that is only fair.
Now you throw THIS in our face. Well, like it or not, those of us who wish to, will continue to fight for the right to serve, we won't be intimidated. It's men that do this sort of thing that will need to change, not us. "Poor weaklings"? Don't underestimate us.
And it's NOT "about awareness"...if it were just about "awareness" you would have stated this question differently, (Not condescendingly). And are your OTHER questions, where you talk about burning women, women being "dirty" (which was removed because of it's offensiveness) and the like about "awareness?" Please. And no one is fooled by those few questions of yours that come across as "loving" toward women, they're creepy, and are nothing but smoke screens so that you can come back and post hate rants while saying "But look! I LOVE women!" No one is fooled.

Women are not being assaulted because they are "weak." Women are being assaulted because men are assaulting them. This is a typical case of "blame the victim."

I'd say that the MEN in the military are the problem here - some of them obviously can't control themselves. Perhaps we could debate whether men should be allowed to join the military??

If a male soldier were assaulted, would you assume that it's because he is weak, and is unfit for service? Or would you simply prosecute the guilty parties? Why should this be any different?

It saddens me to see the two ladies above me argue that women have no place in the military. Do we not deserve the same honor of defending our great country as our men do? Is a woman really going to dishonor her own gender by saying that? I sincerely hope that I misread.

I was raised by a bunch of military men, and I have the pleasure of friendship with some of our military's female enlisted. Many of them have told me that the only thing harder for women in the military is going through the crap you get from your OWN PEERS for being a woman. They are no less effective in combat. Period. I'm thinking about joining up myself!

The psychology of cranks
Virtually universal characteristic of cranks:
they simultaneously overestimate their own knowledge and ability and underestimate that of other persons, including that of acknowledged experts in the field.

Kruger and Dunning hypothesized that with regard to a typical skill which humans may possess in greater or lesser degree,
1. incompetent individuals tend to overestimate their own level of skill,
2. incompetent individuals fail to recognize genuine skill in others,
3. incompetent individuals fail to recognize the extremity of their inadequacy...

These results are taken to explain why cranks so often seem to represent, not individuals with an exceptional degree of knowledge, but rather individuals with an exceptional degree of ignorance concerning the subject of their cranky belief.

As noted above, in addition to a general lack of ability to accurately assess their own skills and knowledge, many cranks also exhibit deficiencies in reading comprehension, logical reasoning, and other cognitive abnormalities, which may contribute both to how they arrive at some bizarre counterfactual belief in the first place, and to how they are able to cling to such a belief in the face of all objections.

It is also striking that many cranks seem to exhibit certain symptoms of grandiosity or megalomania. This may perhaps also be understood, in terms of the phenomenon studied by Kruger and Dunning, as resulting from a simultaneous overinflation of their own social value and underestimation of the social value of others".
