Earlier I posed a question about my gf and how she cries everytime she watches a movie and I wanted to know how I could make it stop, b/c I dont like to see her cry. One of the respondents to my question said "I dont no why men are afraid of crying women" and I honestly dont no why I am afraid of it either?

Ok, I am 16 now, but when I was 14 I was always made fun of on the bus by juniors and seniors in the back. One day I bumped into one who was 17 in 9th grade who would make mean comments. I said wow to him, because I did not think I did, and it was a dark, winter morning. I sat, he got up and grabbed me. I open palm struck him in the nose. He got up and I did it again. Then minutes after or so he attacked me while I was still sitting and bloodied my nose. What do you all think of this situation? How can I not worry about it and say that I was the braver person or did the right thing? Just need some info thanks

Hi, I keep having this dream where I am forced to marry someone other than my husband (in this dream I am deeply in love with my husband but we are only engaged). Then I go searching for him but everyone looks like him and I can't tell which one is my "fiance". What does this mean?

my dad always told me that i was a mistake. whenever i would tell him about something that i did that I thought would make him proud he would tell me that helen keller could do it better. i didnt know who she was so i asked my mom and also asked why my dad would compare me to her. she told me that helen keller was a woman that could hold her breath under water for 12 seconds without coming up for air. i told my mom that i could do that and she told me I wasnt smart enough to count to 12 and i'd end up drowning. I think all of these things helped me become a better person, i'm 38 years old now and I probably never would have known about this helen keller womans ability to hold her breath and i can count to 12 no problem, and if my mom told me to try to follow in helen kellers footsteps i would most definately have drowned. one of my online friends told me helen keller was known for something else but i think he's just jealous of the relationship i have with my mom and dad.

i dreamed that a black figure with blood red eyes was walking towards me. i was wearing a dress from the Victorian era. in the dream, i was surrounded by my friends. they are all trying to help me, but are blocked by an invisible force. my heart rate keeps raising. i feel like i know the person coming towards me, like it's someone close to me. when he's only a few feet away, i notice that he has fangs...i only now realize that he's a "vampire"...what could this dream mean...it seemed very realistic.

I did a search on google for the word GIRL. The top sites listed were for girls age 9-13 (american girl magazine, girl skate boards, dress up for girls, activities for preteens, and so on).

Then I did a search for the word GIRLS. This time the top sites listed were about where to look at hot babes and sexy girls.

One letter was the difference between a child and a woman.

Imagine you are an 11 year old girl. You see ads for "Girls Gone Wild" or hear the song "Girls, Girls, Girls", for example. How do you (with a child's brain) distinguish the difference between child girl and adult girl?

Furthermore, how can we expect girls to become women who don't perpetually act like children, if it is not completely clear that girls are not women and women are not girls?

Any thoughts on the matter?

I'm a senior in college, and I feel old and like I haven't really accomplished anything. I mean, there's nothing horrible going on in my life, but I recently cut off all contact with an ex (that I'd been friends with after dating for 2 years) and I feel embittered (regretful that I ever got in a relationship with him in the first place). Also, everyone around me seems like they have some sort of solid goal to fulfill after they graduate. I, however, am not really looking forward to graduating, because I'm still not really sure what the hell I want to do with my life.
I feel like a waste of space!
I see no point in graduating, going to grad school and pursuing a humdrum job that I will probably grow bored of after a while.
I also see no point in things most people strive for a (career, marriage, etc). It seems boring. I used to not be this way. WTH.
I feel like I'm the only one standing still in a crowded city of moving people.
I still have fun and all, but....
What's wrong with me??

One could argue that the Y chromosome is simply a mutated X chromosome making males a more "advanced" or "improved" female. Since evolution is propelled by mutations that make an organism more powerful, and males are more powerful than females.

Plus nature takes more risks with the Y chromosome, that's why you have a lot of average women, while you have a lot more male idiots and male geniuses.

Right now Im not real happy with how Im doing financially & the only way I can get myself to perform better is to keep my mind fixated on it & kind of obsess over it to work harder & better. However it really takes a toll on me mentally & emotionally. Can you tell me how you deal with something like this, it doesnt have to be finances, it can be relationships or whatever.

In the US, murder is the number one cause of death for a prostitute.

In a fairly recent case that occurred in Atlantic City (4 or 5 prostitutes were killed), a women's group asked: Is it prostitutes they're after or is it just women and prostitutes are an easy target?

Here's a recent case occurring in Houston:

More than 100 years ago, Jack the Ripper also brutally murdered sex workers and some say he helped rid society of its dregs (this was Victorian England, afterall)

What are your thoughts on this?
