I'm a senior in college, and I feel old and like I haven't really accomplished anything. I mean, there's nothing horrible going on in my life, but I recently cut off all contact with an ex (that I'd been friends with after dating for 2 years) and I feel embittered (regretful that I ever got in a relationship with him in the first place). Also, everyone around me seems like they have some sort of solid goal to fulfill after they graduate. I, however, am not really looking forward to graduating, because I'm still not really sure what the hell I want to do with my life.
I feel like a waste of space!
I see no point in graduating, going to grad school and pursuing a humdrum job that I will probably grow bored of after a while.
I also see no point in things most people strive for a (career, marriage, etc). It seems boring. I used to not be this way. WTH.
I feel like I'm the only one standing still in a crowded city of moving people.
I still have fun and all, but....
What's wrong with me??

It's very normal. There's a lot of change going on right now in your life - impending graduation, the ex, potential career decisions, etc. It's a lot to take in. You don't have to choose a career or get married yet. You have lots of time for that. Don't let your education go to waste, though. I've known too many people who have done that. You have to keep the momentum going. You don't have to take a corporate job or anything, but instead try something completely different. I highly suggest taking some time to travel overseas. Go places and see things. It will give you a whole new view of life and give you the opportunity to see more of the world than you even knew existed.

While you may not feel like it, you are young and the malaise will pass. Take some time and do something for yourself first, then decide about graduate work or a job. But as I mentioned before, you will be your own worst enemy if you just sit around and deliver pizzas until you could decide something. (I know, you probably don't deliver pizza, but I know a few 30 somethings that do for the very reasons you state - and probably will continue to do so because they didn't keep momentum)

Keep the momentum up and you'll find that you are not a waste of space! I really do encourage the traveling. You wouldn't regret it and there's ways to travel fairly cheap if you work at it.

Nothing wrong with you. It means you are actually waking up to reality. One has to realize the futility of this material world to actually make any real progress spiritully. For exampla - We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy.
For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line. Take up the process of self realization and all other things will seam insignificant. We can be in this world but not of it, but we have to know the science of the soul.

Just a reminder, many underprivileged people would love to have the opportunity/mental ability to graduate from college. Even if you don't know what you wanna do with your life having that piece of paper gives you an advantage in the job market. The best way to give your life meaning is to create meaning by volunteering your time and talents.

there's nothing wrong with you.

i admit, i may not be in college yet,
but i know what you feel like.

this may sound weird to you,
and so religious-like,
but listen.

Finding enlightment
in your heart is
easy.
But so many people
just don't know
the way.

I asked myself,
why do I believe in GOD?

but my mother told me later on,
even if there was no GOD,
there would
be no point in
life.
there must be
an internal hope
in life,
and that is where Jesus
Christ comes in.

I'm not telling you this
so that there will be
one more
person
who is the
same religion as me.

I'm telling you this
because you need
this joy or
happiness in life
and the only way to
truly
find it
is to see and
discover it
by following God.

I can;t explain it,
and i definately can't
show you what i mean,
but really think about it.

there's nothing wrong with you.
and GOD made you
for a purpose.

So don't worry about
what you are going to do,
because you will find an
answer.

GOD is the way, and
through him,
you will find the most
glorious treasures.
THAT, is the truth,
i promise.

You are at a point to finish that schooling career
BECAUSE if you don;t get it now - you will lose the momentum - and be off track.

Believe in your self - Hunker down - what do you want!
Set some goals! and SUCCEED with them

You're not the only one, I feel like this all the time. What's the point? All you do is go to school to get a job to pay your bills. There is no point!

There is nothing wrong with you.
