The theory of evolution constitutes the so-called scientific basis of various ideologies such as communism, fascism, and racism that are derived from materialist philosophy. This ideological framework is what lies behind its persistent promulgation over the last 130 years

Hitler based his ideas on the superiority of the Aryan race on the theory of evolution. When writing his book, Mein Kampf (My Struggle), he was even inspired by the Darwinist concept of struggle for life. In the posters used in the war years for Nazi propaganda, the Nazis used to designate the human races other than the Aryan race as "De Beestmensch" (The Beast men). It was "Darwinism" that provided the "scientific" grounds for defining human beings as "the beast men".

Karl Marx, the founder of communism, was an atheist who was extremely antagonistic towards religion. Because the theory of evolution deniedthe existence of God, Marx ardently defended this theory. He had such a big fondness for Darwin that he even dedicated his book, Das Kapital, to Darwin and included a handwritten statement "To Darwin, from a true admirer of him, Karl Marx" in the German edition of the book. Marx thought that the theory of evolution was the materialists’ biggest weapon in their war against religion.

The theory of evolution and racism are closely related. The ideology of evolution considers man only as a "species". According to evolution, the inferiority of some races in comparison to other races is very natural. In 1904, an African native named "Ota Benga" was identified as "a primitive species affirming the theory of evolution" and was exhibited in a cage along with apes. In the same manner, the founders of America, who regarded Indians as an "inferior race closer to animals", did not refrain from "hunting" them like animals.

How can you say all the wars and hate is the fault of God or religion?

Could you describe the feeling right before going on a binge. Also what goes through your mind before, during and after.

(Don't have to answer these):
How long have you had this disorder?
Are your friends aware? Do you have support?
Any triggers?
Have you binged today?
What was the longest amount of time you were binge free?
Are you getting help?
How would your life be different w/o COE?

What do you think the world would be like if the majority of people in the word were mentally retarded, just enough so that if someone who was not retarded made a mean joke about them The retarded person wouldn't get it and wouldn't care.

Personally I hope this is the next step in evolution :)

Do you all think 2 Type B's (both easy-going) would make a better couple, or a type A & B combination would make a better one?

Personally, as a Type B, I feel I'd be much better off with another type B just becoz we have so much in common and can "get" each other. I have been dating a Type A, who is so ambitious and rushed, and although they say opposites attract, I feel, long-term wise, I am not feeling it, just coz we are so different! I always feel so rushed with him.

Thoughts?

I'm an undergraduate that will graduate in Spring 08 with a BBA in Finance/Management. I was planning on working for two years and then going to B-School.

Say China and co start pulling their money from the federal reserve, the US dollar hyperinflates, the US renegs on their multi-trillion dollar debts, and/or the dollar is no longer the oil currency.

What sector or job type would give me the most security...

As a result I don’t put my heart into most things and end up not doing as well as I could. I also end up taking more time to complete relatively simple tasks because by taking 'shortcuts' I have only made things more difficult. It is not that I am incapable of achieving certain levels of success. In fact I have had my IQ tested professionally and it scores as highly above average at 140. However socially I feel very much like an outsider, I spend vast amounts of time alone and don’t really have an outlet with people who seem to share my interests so part of my brain is actively overcompensating for this. Yet ironically if I am doing something that will benefit another person it is the opposite, I tend to excel at tasks and pay great attention to detail when the end reward will be bestowed upon someone other than me. I don’t think very much of myself at a very deep level. This has come out in my writing before. What I want to know is, how can I get myself to care and try harder at tasks?

In Portland Oregon, two 14 year old girls were involved in a gross public display of affection. Not just kissing, but deep kissing and heavy petting. So the people on the bus complained, and the driver asked them to stop, they didn’t, so off they went. Now HE’S in trouble for telling them to stop and kicking them! Am I the only one to think this is ludicrous? It’s not a gender/sexual preference thing either, THEY’RE 14! Where are their parents?!?
