Adam Smith proposed that an individual should strive for self-sufficeienct to relieve poverty. Galbraith believes that sometimes an individual should be provided with services to relieve poverty. The Friedmans believe in 'equality of opportunity' for those who have the ability to excel. I believe that in determining how to alleviate poverty, the conditions of the potential and responsibilites of an individual and a community are adherently circumstantial. I am open to all perspectives and hope for a free and open discussion.

I get soo jealous and I'm always having nightmares that he is cheating on me, I'm not an insecure person but my worst fear is that he will cheat. Whenever he tells me something that happened to him like a girl talked to him, or said he was cute, I just get so jealous. I could be having the best day but if he says something involving a girl I just get so mad and it ruins my day. He has friends that are girls so I know I have to understand that but he is very attractive and nice and I know a lot of girls like him he just doesnt realize it. I also might think its because we are in a long distance relationship and I wish I saw him more so I get jealous if girls get to hang out with him, or he's talking on the phone with a girl and not me. Why am I so crazy about it?

She took me to were she was killed and even tried to tell me who her killer was. It was very real. I even remember asking myself to stop dreaming. Can anyone explain this to me?

I have noticed a pattern with me and it's that I allow or give permission to things to bother me and I can't stop. My daughter & son-in-law said some remarks to me that I should have just let it go but it's bothered me ever since. I have noticed that I do in fact have a problem with issue. How I wish I could let things go like water off a ducks back...but it takes a few days and some times a week or two before I regain perspective...and I know it always does..yet those damn moments just ruin my day and sometimes day(s).

Is there a switch or a magic thought process that I maybe missing

thanks......

I have been a heavy alcoholic drinker for around 4 years & rarely missed a night drinking, my recent alcohol intake as reached a peak of 70-120 units per week. I decided 3 days ago to abstain & go cold turkey, it is now 70 hours since i last had a drink & all i have experienced so far is fatigue but just started to feel nauseas. Am i out of the danger zone of risk of DT's? (delerium tremens) ? Thanks

My wife even says that I have disgraced myself by hiring her and the customers just don't seem to wan't a woman to work on their cars. Is this the last line of work women can't break through. I ask before if anyone on here would let a woman work on their car and the response was 100% positive. But in the real world it just isn't that way. What if it really was your car and a girl was really fixing it. How would you feel. Please be honest.

Some people feel that testing God is a mistake. I don't understand this. I heard a speaker once say that she tested God when her life was in danger. A little voice told her to test God, and she said ' if you don't let these people find me, I will know you exist'. I related this to my cousin, and I knew by the look on her face she did not approve. She is not the only person that has expressed a dislike in testing God. Why is that?
