The dream starts off with two guys in a car, during the night. They pull up in a drive way and get out of the car, only to hear loud barking from the neighbors dog. They walk over to the dog to calm it down, but it's snarling and attempts to bite them. So, getting back in their car, they drive to another friends house. And this is where it gets weird. The two guys suddenly dissapear, and it's me there with a friend that I can't recognize. We're in my grandparent's garage now, and the door is only half way up. This guy from our school, Nick, comes in and mentions that one of our other friends was bitten by some dog-like thing. I shrug it off and enter the door to the house, but Nick opens the door and asks me if I had gotten bitten. Then, I notice a rather large canine-looking bite mark on my shoulder. Ignoring his question once more, I go up the stairs to see the entire place torn to shreds, and abandoned. Getting worried, I went back downstairs and looked for Nick, but he wasn't there

I am having a hard time on the following question

You are given the following:

QS = 100 + 3P
QD = 400 - 2P

I know that Equilibirum Price = 60 and Equilibirum Quantity = 280.

Now, suppose that a tax is placed on buyers so that
QD = 400-(2P + T)

If T = 15, solve for the new equilibrium price and quantity. (Note: P is the price received by sellers and P+T is the price paid by buyers.) Compare these answers for equilibrium price and quantity with your first answers.

Hi folks,

The DLA was invented by the Tories to get the unemployment figures down. People unemployed and hard up and or bloody lazy, but I must say not all because there are very many proud people out there who will ot claim anything, but there are loads that were on the unemployment, and when the tories invented DLA streams of people that are not genuine strted to see an easy way of making a fast buck, and as the tories made it self assesment, all the vultures came crawling out of the place.

And guess what, the biggest majority have all got back probs, overnight the amount of isabled parking bays soared, infact the road where i use to live, as soon as my bay went up, the old green eyed monsters came out and weeks later there were bays all up and down my road. Walking stick sales soared, infact I had to replace mine but the shop had sold out.

Here in Ontario, Canada, there's been an increase of 20 cents per liter because of March break (also because the oil execs need to buy a new private jet because their old one is almost a year old.) The idea keeps popping up about a boycott of gas stations to break this 'they-have-us-at-their-mercy' rule. But inevitably some economists and/or oil spokesperson comes out and says it won't work be because of the theory of supply and demand. Well why can't we trash the supply and demand theory??? Let's call it the Be-As-One theory. If we, the consumers, all act as one and boycott a certain brand of gas station for a month (or a year) what would happen? That particular brand would lose money and would eventually close. The other brand would increase their prices in the short term to compensate for increased demand (gouging like they do now) but when they see that our consumer protest against predatory pricing is able to shut down a brand then they may want to think twice about it.

My finace says this is a really common dream, but couldnt remember what it represents.

In my dream I, for some reason, was chewing glass and spitting it out.....and as hard as I tried I couldnt get all the glass out of my mouth. Then I actually felt pain in my dream as the shards of glass got in my hands and feet. I had to pull them out.

It was odd, to say the least. So can anyone offer any insight as to what that dream means?

Here is part of a recent article in the paper. Would you stay with your husband if he did this?

In an incident that at first left police incredulous, two men were charged Thursday in Southington with shooting a man in the leg with a blowgun. Police said the man was shot as he walked out of a store on Queen Street.

The man was one of three people shot apparently at random in the space of half an hour Thursday in Plainville and Southington. In all three cases, the attackers drove past their victim as they fired, police said.

Police in Plainville said two people were shot with blowgun darts there shortly before the Southington incident. They believe the two men arrested in Southington are the culprits in the Plainville attacks also.

Arrested were Jason Plourde, 27, of Waterbury, and Edward Youle, 33, of Southington. Police said they found three blowguns and a box of darts in their sport-utility vehicle.

"They thought it was funny," Southington Police spokesman said
