You have a right to your private thoughts - you don't have to share everything with your therapist.

It would be good if you have a hard time saying what is wrong with you though.

If you tell your therapist about any suicidal thoughts you may have wrote down into your journal they are required to tell someone. On the other hand, if you don't have anything to hide it can give them a good inside look on who you are.

Don't share until you've worked through something to record your thoughts, then discuss.
