I always have dreams that my boyfriend is cheating, or breaks up with me for another girl....and since I have them a lot does that mean it might happen or that its just always a worry of mine?

Hi Sarah,

First of all, anything could happen here. People cheat on each other more often than not. However, don't worry about it unless he give you reason to worry. It could be your insecurity with the relationship that comes out in your dreams. Or, it could be that you have or do suspect he's cheating, and it comes out in your dreams.

Whatever the case, don't buy trouble. Give him the benefit of the doubt here, unless you have reason to believe he's really cheating.

Good luck!

Either you are very insecure or in the back of your mind you really don't trust him. Don't waste your time on someone like this as pretty as you are. I would try to picture myself without him and dream about someone else. I know it's easier said than done, but you are suppose to be comfortable in a relationship and not having to worry if he is being unfaithful. Ask yourself "Do I really think he would cheat on me?" If you can't answer no or if you just don't know, well there's your answer. I have wasted alot of good times with my friends for boys like this and turned out they were just after one good thing or after someone elses good thing. Some men can be pigs, don't try to make him look good, or second guess what you are thinking. Good Luck!

It means that you are very insecure. You need to get some self esteem. I read your last question asking if you are obsessed with your boyfriend. I do believe you are obsessed with being hurt. Things are going to happen no matter what you do to try and prevent them. You need to understand that even if your boyfriend does cheat, you wouldn't have been able to have stopped him prior to doing so. You need to stop being so paranoid. Thank you and good luck.

I think you know if you worry about it or not. How long have you been dating this guy and when did the dreams start? Right away - later on down the road? Sometimes while sleeping we see what we don't want to see during the day.

If it's just about your insecurities, though, then you are just dreaming what you feel inside.

It is obviously a worry of yours. Either you've been hurt in the past and fear a repeat, or you are afraid that you may cheat on him - and in dreams sometimes things happen backwards.

You might be feeling a little insecure right now.....or.....your subconscious is putting together all the little signs that you don't realize you are seeing everyday.
Does this happen with every b-friend or just this one?
I hope it's not true.

Maybe you feel that you are not good enough for him? If he hasn't given you reason to think so then that might be it. Think of why you might feel this way? It's not healthy to think that you or your partner is better than you. It would be helpful to begin looking at yourself in a more positive light.

It means that you feel insecure in the relationship. Now whether or not he gives a reason to feel insecure is another story.

Sometimes we dream about things we cannot face in waking life.
And sometimes a dream is just expressing a fear we have.
And sometimes a dream is just bad Pizza.
Good luck.

You must be very insecure to be thinking like that. He probably gives you reasons to think that something is going on. If you can't trust him, then get rid of him.
