yes. dreams are real. the reality of soul contacting mind immaterially.
this is not to say that a person should translate dreams literally as one may be inclined to do as if in waking reality but the subconscious and superconscious realms are material for the mind in the non-material world and do occasionally insight of the dreamer and relationships within the 3-dimensional world.
feelings are real...and so are thoughts.
be well

Because some are real
we can sometimes see the future in our dreams and the real ones stick out in our consciousness and we remember them even though they may be just symbolic dreams which need interpretation
theres alpha the dream state The R.E.M..rapid eye movement state of sleep.
then Theta .where the brain tells the body when how and where to heal itself .
and delta where they don't know much at all about that state of sleep.. but i have a theory ,that this is where we see the future
Peace
Pleasant Dreams

That depends on the person and the dream, if the dream was something that happened to you in the past it will probably feel really intense and real.

Everything is in your brain, being awake or asleep doesn't make a difference to your brain it works! always! when being asleep u are in a different reality and all of your senses are there if u see a nightmare your heart races cause u believe this is actually happening.

because your subconscious brain is trying to sort through your problems and thoughts as you sleep and since they are very real subjects and such familiar things going on in your head they feel real....

Because dreams are our sub-consciece's way of speaking to us, and if they didn't feel so real we wouldn't listen.
