My sister has asked for my help, but I am having trouble. Her husband has had recurring nightmares throughout their marriage, in which she cheats or runs off with a close freind or relative of his. She dresses modestly, and is not a flirt etc. Any takers?

Infidelity is not something she condons. I asked her outright and she tells me she has not been unfaithful and has not demonstrated any romantic interest his friends or relatives.

Well, sometimes dreams are not what they seem.
If we have homosexual dreams, it can mean a mating of two sides of our very own personalities.
Maybe he's just afraid that he's not the same man she thought he was when they fell for each other.
Give that a whirl.
He may be wrong, but for all you know, he may be right....

it is deep inner fear. He wants to do all and be all he can for her - but fears it will not be good enough and she will go with someone who will do / be good enough.

he realizes she is the best thing that has happened to him..... but still has fears.

ok - what to do about it...... if she communicates honestly how she feels and honestly communicates what he needs to do better on, it will help. The more she can build him up the better & the more she can do on a daily / weekly basis to communicate to him she loves only him will help also.
