55 year old woman, 3 grown kids. Admits she's an alcoholic but "not ready" to stop.
Family and friends are very worried about her safety.
Black-outs.
Has urinated in public street, elevator, bar, family function, etc.
Has been known to stay at bars by herself and had the bartender send her home in a cab.
Husband in denial (we think) or just doesn't care. Doesn't want to talk about it. Any suggestions?

I just can't understand why am i clinging to my unconsciousness. I know a lot of meditations that can make me aware, i know what to do to be aware, however, i just sit there smoking, doing anything. Am i afraid of meditating? I am afraid to lose myself.. my thoughts? The smoke somehow turns me into my unconsciousness. It is as if i am in a state of hypnosis while i am smoking.

I am not happy or joyous while being in the unconsiousness, but i am not being consciouss too. I am not living in the past nor the present nor the future, i am just in an unconsciouss state of mind.

I just don't understand why am i clinging to my unconsciousness while i don't like being in there.

Any comments would help.

I came to the point today, when i have just had enough!
i have been a carer for my mother for 11 years, and i went to see my cuzin today for her bday, and she fell over and i really hurt my back just to get her up, i am so sick of being a carer now, iam going to be 18 in aprill and i want to have a life, i have not even had a childhood becuase of a childhood trauma, aswell as mum being ill.
I know it sounds selfish, but can you understand?
but also i have social phobia, and depression so i hate being on my own and i need my mum, but i am just trapped,
have you got any advice?x

and I (and I had reason to) honked the hell out of him, and I also peered my head out the window, so he stops and rears his car back almost hitting mine, completely blocking my path and gets out of his car.

I stayed in mine and remained calm and polite, trying to diffuse the situation. He goes "What? What did you say?" When I didn't say anything, then I threw him a lie when he asked why I honked and said I was having a bad day. He replied "Bad day---you don't ******* know a bad day. Then he told me he'd **** me up.

And sped off. This happened a couple weeks ago and im still angry over it. When I go by where I work, the area he pulled out, I look for his car. Should I let if go? And was I violated in anyway?
