In my opinion I think that when a man is having a conversation with a woman and he keeps constant eye contact with her then it must mean that he is actualy paying attention to the conversation, however some pals of mine argue that it really means that the guy is either A:interested in the woman or B: not really paying attention.
Well?
I know of a couple of guys that carry pretty good eye contact with me and I just assume that they are paying attention to what I say which I find to be good, honest, and respects that they are not looking elsewhere.

Please serious answers. Don't cut me down or give me a hard time just please simply answer my question. I'm married and have a daughter but still with everything going on and the schedules we keep I find myself feeling so lonely sometimes. I'd just like to know if anyone else ever feels that way. Even though you might be surrounded by people you feel like you can't talk to any of them.

I am a 16 year old guy. About two months before my birthday when I was 15, I was in my basement and took off all my clothes, got naked and began masturbating on my recliner with baby oil to pictures of our high school cheerleaders and I orgasmed for the first time, and since then I have been doing it frequently. My question is how much is too frequent? I have been mainly masturbating about girls in my high school wearing a t shirt bent over with no panties on. Or I just simply am masturbating to celebrities like Jessica Simpson, Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Hillary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Pink, and the list goes on and on. I am usually doing it to the pictures. It was once a day but now its more like two or three times a day. The other day I did it about 5 times so now I am worried am I doing it too much. I still talk to girls at school but I am afraid to have sex right now. Is it ok to have these fantasies and are they healthy?

I have felt that I never get what I want in Life. Always have to make up my mind to be satisfied with what i get? Is life always like this, about making compromises and accepting and liking what you get? Happiness is defined as liking what you get. I never found that to be true. Why is it wrong to want something and try to get it? I dont think it as selfishness or arrogance. Why is life about acceptance and compromise and trying to be happy with what i have rather that getting what I want?

This happened me in 9th Grade. I was bored and had no friends. Spent a lot of time to myself and got nothing to do or think. So i got obsessed with this thought so much that it effected every moment of my life, wherever i went and ehatever i did. I just could not put this out of my mind. It keeps disappearing and then re-emerging at the most untimely moment. For example, i am talking with a person casually and it enters my mind. I am 25 now and still lonely. and when i got nothing to do, this is what i think. Could it be Bipolar disorder ?

Having a hard time right now — and a lot of posted questions, so sorry if this seems redundant or pathetic, there are people in the world with much worse problems than mine, I know, but it's hard when you're in the center of your own disfunctional mind. I've been having high level anxiety related to upcoming job, decisions, etc, I'm trying to hold it all together but I need to do something tonight for me that would help — I'm kinda in a crisis. It's not just a matter of relaxing I guess, I need to solve something. What could I do? Sometimes it feels worse to talk about it to people, it feels like it makes stuff more 'real.'

My bf called me cold and jealous. I really don't mean to be that way. My mom died when I was a kid, had no type of relationship with my dad, and was sent to live in many different homes. These reasons and many more made me somewhat, I guess what people would call dysfunctional. I've had a hard life which in return made me hard. Now, I'm not looking for any type of sympathy I just need help. I hurt on the inside really bad (emotionally). I was told I should see a psychiatrist but its alot of money and time I don't have. I just feel, if I am a good person people will take my kindness for weakness and hurt me. Does anyone know good advice or a website that can help me and lead to self healing?

I was in a house fire several years ago and had to get myself and my two small children out. We had been sleeping and I woke up (how I don't know) to the enitire living room/kitchen ablaze, the house filled with smoke and the exit blocked. Somehow time seemed to slow down so that each split second seemed to take a long time. And during this time I knew EXACTLY what I had to do and how to do it. I suddenly knew things that I'd never consiously thought about before (ie: exactly how to throw my 4 yr. old from 20 feet up, so that he would land with minimal injury). This took multi-tasking to a whole new level. I have never thought so clearly and precisely in my life. I've heard of people in car accidents experiencing this feeling of time slowing down 0- has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know what causes this?
