Statements like"You would not know", "You would not understand" and " You did not like him (or her)" which imply that one is feeble minded or that one's judgement of a person is automatically biased as result of one's feelings. Another is "Let me do it" or "Don't even try" which are synonymous with "You are incapable and I will do a better job of it than you".

It's not a statement as such but I was told many years ago at a job interview for an assistant manager position that I would not be given the job because as a newly married woman I was more than likely going to be having children soon so it was a waste of their time!! The position was vacant because the wife of the guy who interviewed me was pregnant!!! I did not rush off and have children but what a cheek! Why bother interviewing me at all!

When J K Rowling was receiving an award from a librarians organisation, the head of ceremonies praised her Harry Potter books, because 'Kids come in to libraries to read them, and once they're here, we can introduce them to proper books'!!!

I was working last night in a pub and cleaning up, the duty manager had finished cashing up (it was quiet) but the manager and her bf were there so instead of helping me like she is supposed to she sat and chatted with them while I had to work around them for around 1/2 hr, then she goes to me 'you can go now' !!!!!!
