my bro is filing for divorce from his wife of 6yrs.He is leaving her for an old gf from college. We just found out(from his wife)he also cheated on her(wife) with a coworker a few yrs ago. We(his family) always knew she wore the pants in the family and could be very nasty to him at times but cheat on her 2x?I asked him if he was so unhappy why did he not leave her sooner and he said he made a commitment to god and her to make it work.We are a very religious family and look down on divorce but isn't cheating worce? He also has a 1yr old child with her that is his world and wanted his son to have a perfect family life so he tryed to make it work for his sons sake.i do know hes very upset over this and is in therapy for it he said he feels like he has failed his son.My question is do you men by this? Can a man be so in love with his child and values to do whats right that he stays in a relalationship that makes him want to commit suicide and make him have to cheat multible times on his wife

If everyone conducted their business as I do, which is pay as you go? The only thing I owe on is my home, and I owe less than 20% of the market value, have been paying it down fast. I save and buy a car, pay the entire credit card bill every month. If NO ONE in this country was strung out on credit, what would happen with the economy?

Serious students of economics only, please.

I had this funny lucid dream where I woke up from bed and knew I was dreaming, walked through my closed door, turned on the light in the living room and tried to turn on my webcam to record myelf as if it was an out of body experience, but then I woke up like "Drat!" LOL

i feel fine during the day but not when the night falls. i so miss having a partner then and I want to get over it.

i want to get over the desire to have anyone because I know love either comes or doesn't come your way.

and most importantly, i do not believe that being happy with yourself has anything to do with it. you can't romance yourself. i was just reading a preface of a famous linguist and he said that everything would be meaningless without his wife and kid. that's how I feel about it too but I'd like to come up with a way to stop missing this because there is no guarantee it will happen.

thanx

Mine is a bright and sunny place with green grass and a carousel playing fairground music. There are lots of smiling happy people and some chickens carrying balloons. Way in the distance, a row of filing cabinets with their drawers open and papers all over the ground. Way over there is where I keep the serious and important parts of my life. I don't go there often.
So what's it like inside your head?

I don’t think so; it is very rare.
What is very common is someone powerful doing something terrible to others; then proudly tells the story laughing the entire life, the victim just stays the victim and nothing ever happens to the offender.
I think people just say that to feel better, but they know it is not true.
And I think Karma is not true either, if someone had karma then would not do evil things in the first place.
What do you think???

It always seems like I'm some sort of character. I know who I am but I dont like to label myself as one kind of person. So how do I know when I'm being myself and when I'm not, how do just naturally start acting like it?

As in: why are you here in the psychology section answering questions?

Did you study about this?
Do you have an innate ability to understand the human mind?
Do you just have generally good advice?
Are you lost and don't know where you are?

This is sort of a psychology question in and of itself
