umm i am sorry?.... what do you want with THINGS anyway... its just STUFF and there is always more STUff ... you want you need you cant live without... just garbage

Here's the deal. As long as you spend your time and energy focusing on the fact that you don't have what you want, whether its materialistic, emotional, or spiritual in nature, you will continue to have nothing. If you want something, then start talking and behaving as if you expect to have those things. Make it known that you are willing to work hard to achieve your goals. Imagine yourself having all the things you want, and try to see how you can achieve that. Start by looking around at what you do have, no matter how small. How did you make those things happen? I personally do not put a lot of emphasis on material things, but I do relate as far as being frustrated at not having what you want out of life. We all want different things.
