I can't stand to have friends who are friends with people I'm not friends with too. I get really jealous and feel ditched and hurt when he hangs out with his other friends. I know I can't be friends with his friends because I don't like them. This is probably because I really hate being ignored which, ironicly, is my life. Help!

I'm a first generation American. I went to an ivy league school and I am now in law school. When it comes to education or work I have no problem. However, outside of work and school I have no identity. Because I have no identity, it is tough to relate to people. I've date tons of girls in the past but I have never met their parents, although some have met mine. I feel like I'm a total exception that no one will accept. I don't think I will ever meet a girl who I can connect with beyond sex. Can you relate? Maybe I just need to sack up and quit whining, but I may be wrong...so what do you think? Actually the only place where I ever felt I belonged was in Europe

I was abused horribly as a kid. I asked my friend how that experience could possibly have benefitted me and he said that when I get mad it takes me a while to lash out. For example, lets say someone hits me or talks sh!t to me. I wont immediately hit back or I might not hit back at all. Its like I have no desire to retaliate with words or fists. Whats so good about having that kind of self-control and how did 6 yrs of abuse give me that? Wouldnt a person who went through that be a person ready to attack anyone who talked sh!t to them or hit them?

I live in a small community of about 2500.
We are mostly Anglo Saxon .
However we have our token South Africans our token Slavs , Chinese,Asians, Aboriginals , and so on .
We have a selection of gays lesbians .
About the only thing your not allowed to be is a pedophile.
We are unsophisticated rednecks, yet we all seem to accept one another and get along .
If you muck up in a town like this we all find out, and you are an open book. which keeps everyone responsable for their own actions .
There is no room for bigotts where I live.
Unlike yahoo answers, where the not so bright can hide behind a keyboard and sprout superiority to those beneath themselves
Yahoo has taught me to be happy with my Redneck world. Here I am safe , and so is everyone else.
I have also learnt in comparrison to the self rightiouse that frequent this site I am a good person .
So thanks for the lesson.

It seems that people go, pay thousands of dollars, are given medications with doubtful results, and are still never given a clean bill of health.

In response to one of my answers, the asker said that I didn't seem to understand the difference between the wisdom of the heart and emotional desire. Perhaps he was right. So could someone clue me in as to what the difference is? Is believing something in your heart the same as wanting it to be true? Seems so to me.

When I was a kid...I thought the time to turn 18 was forever. But now my 20's are flying right by me(I'm still a kid at heart!). I wonder how long it is going to take for me to reach 40- 60 and just die. I'm getting tired...........

I'm 18 and never had a girlfriend. I'm definitely good looking, that's not a problem. I guess the problem is I never really had the right opportunity to talk to girls and make relationships. Or if there was a chance, I never knew what to say.

Probably the most popular answer to this question is "join a club or some activity you like and meet people there". This doesn't work for me because I don't have time between work and school and don't really have one particular thing I like deeply.

I'm looking for someone 1-2 years younger so being a freshman at college doesn't help much. So I guess what I'm asking is what is a good place/situation to meet girls (by themselves and not in large groups or with other guys).

This is a story about a girl. While at the funeral of her own mother, she met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be, that she fell in love with him there but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: What is her motive in killing her sister?

I will post the correct answer when I choose the best answer.
