I'm a first generation American. I went to an ivy league school and I am now in law school. When it comes to education or work I have no problem. However, outside of work and school I have no identity. Because I have no identity, it is tough to relate to people. I've date tons of girls in the past but I have never met their parents, although some have met mine. I feel like I'm a total exception that no one will accept. Can you relate? Maybe I just need to sack up and quit whining, but I may be wrong...so what do you think? Actually the only place where I ever felt I belonged was in Europe.

I'm Navajo indian born and raised in California. I live now on the reservation but don't speak Navajo and I break all the taboos. I've lived off reservation in Arizona but I don't exactly belong there either and have run into prejudice. I will my niche eventually as I've found others in situations similar to me. You will too.

I agree.. I constantly feel like something is missing. I feel so... disconnected. Im not sure if aI am really getting to what you are talking about but I dont exactly feel whole. I have thought about what this thing is that I could be missing and have decided that it is either love, risk, or something spiritual.
