i am tring to make a brochure as a homework assignment convincing to come to virginia a new founded southern colony

Well, study the reasons why people went to Jamestown in 1607 - the first successful colony town.

They went there so that they could explore a new frontier, be free in their own religion, and for new opportunities and challenges in life.

well, if it's supposed to be a modern brochure, I wouldn't exactly want to say it's a new southern colony. And if it's supposed to be a brochure for colnial times, I wouldn't say a Southern colny. I strongly believe it IS a southern colony but at that time, nobody distinguished north and south really. I would point out the available prospects like as much land as the eye can see, possible riches of gold, endless amounts of tobacco, peanuts, cotton, corn, etc. and a new frontier to explore.
