I am 42 years old and have been a sub teacher for about 6 years. I have been thinking about switching careers for a long time. I hate my job!

I love sharks but have no experience nor am I a marine biologist or shark expert.

Is there a shark expert school somewhere?

If so, how can I get a job working with sharks, especially when I have no experience?

Thanks

I read an article a while back that scientists say plesiosaurs are not related to land dinosaurs and that they are more related to either turtles or whales but I forgot which one it was... someone know?

There is a pair of ravens who nest near my colege. All of the young birds have white patches or spots on their feathers which are still there when they moult. The pair at home don't have young with white on them.

So does anyone know why ravens have white patches?

People have always thought me so weird because I believe any animal in any sort of enclosure is cruel.

Especially birds in cages because they have wings to fly don't they?

I believe zoos are totally out of order. I can't stand the idea of people going to a zoo to stare at animals. They should be free in the wild, away from any human interference.

I do understand the importance of endangered species but that is because of hunting etc.

They should aim to put a stop to that first rather than going round capturing animlas and locking them up for other peoples pleasure.

Does anyone else agree?

Do their fangs work somewhat like our esopagus/trachea, where one channel opens to deliver venom and another opens to recieve the juices? Do they have a mouth that they use for drinking water and "eating?"
