Can anyone tell me what kind of spider this is? I've seen them for years, but I've never seen a picture of one before. They are a salmony color, with darker, maroonish legs. They tend to live under rocks and other dark, moist places. They are not terribly big,but sort of creepy - looking.I'll try to find one and take it's picture if no one knows what I'm talking about.I live in Ohio,if thet helps.

Last night our college pastor told us that if you freeze a snake it goes into a hibernation state and when thawed will "come back to life". Is that true?

I have seen salmon trying to run up waterfalls, up canals etc. Why do they get lost? How common is it for the salmon to get lost/confused about which way is really upstream?

I think I was bitten by a brown widow on saturday. I was extremely swollen until wed. now it just itches terribly, and there is a little brown spot where I was bitten. anyone know how long till the itch and spot goes away? (The reason I think it was a brown widow is I have found them around the house. Last year I had a black widow problem. So brown widow isn't so bad in comparison) Thanks for the help.

An article about crows using tools to find food. It's true that monkeys do this but it could be attributed to their intelligence an learned behavior. However, its hard to imagine a crow to have learned behavior to the point of making tools.

on any of the species who do this?

If it (cannibalism) isn't practiced by all carnivores and omnivores, is there a reliable source where I can access a list of species who do practice it?

Thanks. ☺
