Its my sons homework it says
First:hold your arms and left foot close to your body.
Second: Spread your arms and your feet out as wide as you can
With this evidence explain how a tyrannosaurus rex's tail helped it balance

well the t-Rex's tail is very large so it supports the weight of the body.
its kinda like the cerebellum in the Head its supports the weight of the head and helps the body balance

counterweight. hold a weight in one hand and sretch that hand out as far as you can reach with the other arm down by your side. What happens? Now do the same thing, but this time, hold your other arm out as far as you can reach in the opposite direction. Any difference? Try this - stand a foot or so from something on the floor, and bend forward to pick it up - keep your feet together on the floor. How was it? Now when you bend forward, lift one foot off the floor and stretch your leg out behind you as you bend over to pick the thing up. Any difference?
