They do not have stingers and will rarely bite. They will only bite if they are threatened, but their bite is not real painful, like a horse-fly's bite. They are incredible to watch as they are incredible fliers. They are the most proficient fliers in the insect kingdom, and in my opinion, in the entire animal kingdom. Nothing rivals their flying ability, except maybe, the Hummingbird. Dragonflies are very beneficial, as they eat an incredible amount of mosquitos. They also eat other insects like gnats, bees, moths, etc. They need to eat their own weight in insects every 30 minutes. You can figure out how many mosquitos that is. Alot!!!!!
Dragonflies are cool!!!!! It is the only fly that I like!!!!!!

dragonfly DON'T have stingers. they however have a nasty mouth & will try to chew u with them if u catch them. catch a dragonfly by the tail & it will bend itself & try to bite u, its not painful but why catch them in the first place,,,u just won yr bet..

No, they do NOT. They don't even bite, unless you're a bug they're eating. They don't have stingers, they don't have venom, they're completely non-poisonous and harmless -- unless you're their lunch.
