During the day they are usually silent, is it not so... .. except for an occasional wood thrush in a woods with a brook ... well, ok ... meadowlarks, and peewees ....?

I saw this show once and this guy had brought out some animals for the audiance to look at and one of them was this really tiny deer that was little enough to hold in his hands. He said it was already fully grown. I have never seen anything like it since and was wondering if anyone out there new what kind of deer it was.
