One of those pointless questions which sometimes gets into my head and won't leave.

Is it possible to cross breed a pigeon with a bird of prey such as a kestrel or are they genetically to different? At the same time could a sparrow be bred with a blackbird?

A local Butterfly House is set to close down due to the sad death of its custodian. I know nothing about Butterfly's. But I would like to do something to save this place. It would be so sad to see it go. It is located in West Yorkshire

Lets compare ourselves to two animals, horses and dogs. We both breathe, we both sleep, eat, drink, have eyes, ears, mouths, lungs, stomachs, spines, blood. And we're not connected? Why do people think they're better than animals? We are just very intelligent, just because we're very much more intelligent, doesn't mean we're better, look; birds can fly naturally, we can't? We're not superior to animals, because we are animals, or isit just one big coincidence that we have all those qualities the same. We are mammals, we are two sexes, male or female and we must have sex to reproduce, just like animals.

I went to the petshop yesterday. There were pure yellow little ducks andthen there were darker [brownish black] ducks with stripes or blotches. Do those colors determine the gender of the duck? If not, is there another way I could find out what th gender was?

My dog is very afraid! He woke me up in the middle of the night. I can't get him outside! He literally won't move!!!! I don't want to force him out cause I'm afraid I may injure him!! What could possible cause him to act like this???

If an animal is born blind, is it because the animal is an offspring of a mother that gives birth to multiple offspring?
Which Genus/Species give birth to blind offspring? Do animals which give birth to Litters have more blind offspring?
