Like ant venom, scorpion venom, spider venom, etc? Are they stable chemicals? Do these animals have to regenerate them constantly?

Thanks

All venoms are degradable. They mostly constitute formic acid and/or acetic acid as major components. On contact with alkali, or mild acids, they react immediately.

The animals generate the poison at regular intervals, as they have to use it periodically for defence or for predation.

The scorpions, spiders and a few snakes (with triangular like vipers or big heads as cobras, kraits) have sacs to store the created venom. A few venomous snakes (with small heads) generate only while attacking. These types of snakes keep chewing while venom is created and injected simultaneously.
