Hi. I am a hyena, my name is David Hyena. I abbreviate this just for my avatar, to David H. Let me tell you this. Lions are just about the stupidest creatures on this planet. Also Hyenas are pretty damn smart, I can tell you. We let those dumb idiots go chasing after antelopes and buffalo, let them tear it to pieces and then we help ourselves. Also did you ever hear of a lion that could use a computer like I do. Huh!

Hyenas are smarter. They are really, really smart, but very, very unpredictable.
Near where I live, there is a small zoo that has some lions and a hyena. They have trained the hyena to do dozens of different behaviors, and he really seems to enjoy this. He acts like a dog doing tricks, as if he is really eager to show what he can do, and get his treat. But nobody ever goes in the cage with him. They say it is simply not safe. He is trained to press his body against the cage bars so they can give him an injection if he needs one, and all kinds of other things like that for his care.

id say hyenas.. they are smart enough to let everyone else do all the hard work, and then they just come in and take it from them.. or maybe that just makes them more thuggish
i should get a hyena.. "oh, cute rottweiler.. i have a hyena."

when facing one
they will take food out of a lion mouth as it is eating and run
they are the lions arch enemy

Hyenas are not a canine species,and they hunt more than they scavenge. They both have the same amount of intelligence because their both carnivores.
