I recently read that some zoologists believe that giraffes never sleep. I think that this is ridiculous, but I cannot imagine how they do go to sleep. Does anybody know the truth?

Its body is over an inch long, black or dark brown, with yellow stripes and yellow 'feet'. My daughter climbed into a little concrete bunker on a road-side in Italy last week and immediately screamed to be helped back out having come face-to-face with one. How close a call was it? Thanks.

Come to think of it... has anyone ever seen a moth sleeping? How about an owl? Or a cow? They can't even sit down for god's sake!

K. Im just in a bad place. My daddy has a condition called c.i.d.p (Chronic inflamitory demilitating poly neuropothy) Its a condition that can turn into a.l.s. Hes not getting any better and he is actually getting worse everyday. Today he fell in the bathtub and it took him 15 mins to get out! He used to be such a stong man always working hard and going on hikes with me , just a very active guy. Now he cant do what he used to be able to do and it makes him and all of his family very sad...and it all happened so quick!! The other thing is about my life.Ive always thought It would be awsome to be a zooloigist, but never thought I could really do It. Im not good at math my grades arent nearly good eneough to get a scholarship and we dont really have eneough money to send me to a collage for 4 years. My other choice is to take a 2 year course and be a rn. Good money/job abundence, but not my dream. Can everyone really live there dream? or is that just something they tell you in kendergaden?

I have touched the Stingrays at Sea World and swam with dozens of them at Discovery Cove in Orlando. They seem to still have their barbs. All i can find out by researching them is that they are rarely aggressive and sting only when provoked...well, this is common sense since THEY LET YOU SWIM WITH THEM! But, wouldnt Sea World HAVE to remove any barbs to eliminate the possibility of someone getting injured? There are hundreds of people who come in contact with them everyday at their parks. Is this done? or do they have their barbs? Also, how do the places in Grand Cayman have hundreds of swimmers around them without accidents like what happened to Irwin?
