Not the tree, I just read a question concerning Otter-Seal bonzai? What is Bonzai? I don't understand:(

A bonsai is a miniature tree
it is miniaturised over many years
by care full trimming of roots and foliage
they are grown in shallow trays (pots)
designed for this purpose .
watering is carefully regulated,
to keep it growing in tip top condition
The origin of the art of bonsai
was in the eastern nations of China and Japan.
Bonsai were handed down as heirlooms over many generations ,
They are not easy to maintain , but are so beautiful ,it is worth the effort ,to learn how if you are so lucky to own one ,

Bonsai is the art of aesthetic miniaturisation of trees and plants in containers..

So it basically means small.

Bonsai - relates to the art of miniature tree growing
Banzai - is the Japanese term for "Bottoms up", "Cheers", etc...
