A check-out person would not sell me Paracetemol and Ibuprofen both at the same time, however I have bought 2 packs of each at the same time on past occassions. Where does the law stand on this - the check-out person said it was against the law - I suspect it has more to do with store policy.

I can't really fully grasp the idea of it. When you say pathology of certain disease like Cervical cancer...

...Do you have to put emphasis on the disease process?

Does it mean a female XX does not have any charectristics passed down from ancestors ?

If a couple have only female children how is their genetic identity preserved ?

Does the Y choromosome contain only paternal charecterisitcs or does it contain maternal ancestral charectristics also ?

Can two XX chromosomes be fused together without sex with a man ? i.e can woman have children from the XX chromosomes taken from another female ?

Is ischemia seriious? Is it the same as bracycardia or tachycardia? Should i be worried about it or is it OK like an allergy bothers you, but isn't serious? Are there better meds for it than Lipitor? Is there minor ischemia and worse ischemia. I haven't had an echocardiogram. I can't get a handle on this through my dr. I cannot stop the stress or PTSD that I have. I know that the stress is very bad for me, but I can't seem to stop it.. Any info. anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

I would love a medical referral for the ischemia or PTSD in San Francisco or Berkeley/El Cerrito area. Thank you all. Jay

This is my blood type and I've been told that it's rare (if you knew me, that would not surprise you in the least, lol, I'm left handed and have that red hair only 2% of the world has). So this is my question. I donate blood to the blood bank when I can. Who can accept AB+? And what blood can I accept?

I'm searching for a Doctor for my mother who is 50 years of age. What are some areas of specialization that I should look in a doctor for my mother? Is it just a regular family doctor? Primary? I need one that deals with problems w/ aches in particular body parts. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

To function, the brain requires oxygen, nutrients and stimulii: these could be provided by external mechanical support.
- Could we remove a brain from a body and keep it "alive" that way? (serious question)
- Assuming we could, how long could the brain survive?

Does it work through artificial opiates (similar to the body's natural endorphins), or does it affect people through some other way?
I know that heroin and morphine are artificial opiates, and although they are much more damaging than marijuana, do they work the same way?

I have been on depression medication for about 3 months now. The medication I am on is called Cipralex. I was REALLY happy for the last 2 weeks but I wanted to know if I was NATURALLY happy (like if I have overcome depression) or if it was the medication. So I didn't take it for 2 days and I just died! I had nausea, headaches, diarrhea, and I was so depressed. What is wrong with me? Am I addicted to the drug or am I just depressed still?
