I am thinking it is because this patient is compensating for something, but the BP is throwing me off. His pulses were regularly irregular. No, this isn't some test question, I am just having a hard time understanding homeostasis.

I'm serious... If you don't know the answer, just pass on my question, I'm very curious because I never heard anyone talk about it. I just hear that weed gets you high, not "why weed gets a person high?" Thanx for those who answers in advanced.

You hear it all the time on TV like "ER," but I've never heard what they stand for. They'll say something like I need 100 cc's of whatever, a cbc, and some other orders....

Is there any research to suggest that a breastfeeding mother shouldn't use hydrocortisone cream? My daughter has been sick since I started using it...just a coincidence?
I was given it for a terrible bee sting, is this unusual? I'm not too trusting of the pharmasist who assured me it would be fine.

I am scheduled to have an MRI and I was wondering about taking a seditave to make it easier to be calm. The doctor who scheduled the MRI said to contact my family doctor to get a sedative. Can anyone with MRI experience recommend a particular seditave that works well? Are there any to avoid?

I have been advised to use Chloramphenicol eyedrops (which are an antibiotic, but available over the counter).

I have begum taking them as instructed, and know I must use extra contraception as the drops can stop The Pill from working. But as sperm can live inside you for 3-5 days, won't it stop my Pill from last night working? And leave me open to pregnancy?

In order for protien to build muscle, does it have to be ingested & absorbed internally? Can it be absorbed by the skin and have the same results? In other words, can a high protien infusion, pack or poultice be put on your skin and have the same effect on your muscles as a high protien meal, drink or supplement. Does it have to be absorbed from the INSIDE OUT or can it go from the OUTSIDE IN? I'm very anxious to learn the answer to this. My aunt has post-polio and I'm trying to figure out how we can maintain the muscle she has left & maybe even build more.
