I dont hear the korotkoff sounds until maybe 6-8mmHg after the ticker on my aneroid sphygmomanometer "flickers" as it drops. Do I record it when it starts flicking or when I actually HEAR the sound through the stethoscope?

Thanks. I'm a student by the way, just checking before my exam.

an average human cell like tcell and blood cell are 60 times bigger than hiv. there are about 10 000 to 100 000 cells in a single drop of blood and they can be red blood cells, white blood cells and others. imagine just 100 HIV within a single drop of blood. remember that a single drop of blood might contain 10 000 to 100 000 bigger cells like red and white blood cells. and they say that hiv will die in a single drop of blood that will dry up outside the human body. how can hiv be destroyed within a single drop of blood if that hiv contaminated blood itself is situated in liquids at very neutral temperatures. and how can the oxygen or environmental agents kill the 100 HIV that is kept within tens of thousands of bigger blood cells plus blood fluid within a single drop of blood? wont the bigger cells and blood fluid block oxygen and environmental agents from getting into the HIV itself? how will hiv in a drop of blood be destroyed in wet soups and wet foods at very neutral temperatures?

ly that would make the micro blood vessels contract which is the last thing you need if you are trying to get more oxygeb to the heart. I know the oxygen comes from liquid which turns to gas as it hits room temperature but surely someone could come up with a way of delivering it at room temperature?
(Am I making sense here?

Ok this is what my doctor perscribed me for the pain my ovarian cyst is causing me... I have a huge issue with taking medications I have never taken before as I have a fear of sideaffects/allergic reactions... When I had gone to the ER they gave me Morphine, that had bad effects on me that didnt wear off for 2 days (headache and nausea) not to mention it didnt help with the pain at all... So what I am asking is this,

1. Should I even bother taking the lortab?
2. What does it make you feel like?

This is a list of painkillers that have no effect on me

Morphine
Advil
Tylenol
Percocet
Ultracet
Aspirin
Aleve
Ibuprofen

These are my allergies

Penicillin
Codeine

I have told my doctor all of this and he still perscribed me it.

i recently heard of iridology. got a pic of my eyes and they told me what some things were in my body. they gave me some all natural pills to take morning and night and they told me to change my diet. i have been taking the pills and they do seem to help. BUT i've been wondering if the Iridology is actaully for real or just something some guy made up. i work @ a vet clinic and i told the docs that this is what im doing. the next day one of the docs gave me a paper that said iridology is a quack. it was from a .org website not a .com. so do you know if Iridology actaully works?

I'm sure reduced Red Blood Count is included in the result but what causes its reduction? I know cervical cancer can cause irregular vaginal bleeding but what specific process is behind?
