I know a wide bore needle (wbn) is used in biopsies. Actually, I think a bore needle, is just a hollow needle... like the needles that they use to draw blood with.

cardia is the opening into the stomach and that part of the stomach connected to the esophagus
gastric means relating to the stomach
cholangiogram is an X-ray study of the bile ducts performed with contrast injected into the ducts.

I'm assuming positive, is just that... positive, like a yes, or a positive number?

Bore of a needle is the reciprocal of the diameter of lumen expressed in centimeters . 1/23 bore means the the bore is 23rd of a cm.
Cardia gastric is the upper part of the stomach where it curves to form fundus.
Cholaqngiogram is a contrast radiographic picture of gall bladder and bile ducts. Positive is when such a picture is diagnostic.
