Is there any research to suggest that a breastfeeding mother shouldn't use hydrocortisone cream? My daughter has been sick since I started using it...just a coincidence?
I was given it for a terrible bee sting, is this unusual? I'm not too trusting of the pharmasist who assured me it would be fine.

It is not known if hydrocortisone is secreted in breast milk.
No research papers are available. But Hydrocortisone is highlysoluble and an overdose can get into breast milk. As the medication is only for a brief period no effects should be seen in the child.
