Normal body temperature (measured orally) is between 36.5 and 37.4 degrees C. It varies among individuals and in the same person. Usually these days it's quoted as 37C; but when I was a lad it was 98.4 Fahreheit = 36.9 Centigrade. Calling it 37C is probably part of the dumbing down process that surrounds us these days.

Above 41 and below 36 you have to call for a doctor. People can die below 36-35 and above 42.

It's lower in the mornings and higher in the evenings. Up to 37 is okay, but anything over that is classed as pyrexial.
