Because I don't want it to still effect me when I try to wake up in four hours. I just took one about two minutes ago because I can't sleep & I have to wake up early in the morning. Will I have trouble waking up due to it still being in my system?

i've heard that in practically every surgery, the anesthesiologist's role is absolutely crucial and as important as that of the surgeon. why are they so important?

is a breathing tube ALWAYS put down your throat? i heard that no, it is not always done. why not?

Please only answer this question if you truly have learned the pathology behind diseases such as heart attacks, cancer, strokes, etc. If you're not familiar with the cell cycle, oncogenes, DNA repair, etc then don't try to answer this question. I'm not looking for a religious fanatic to quote the bible. I'm looking for someone with medical knowledge to explain how it's still possible to believe in religion and god given their underlying understanding of the mechanisms behind disease.

hi,
i've been checked for a hernia, , i've had blood work done, and i've had a colonoscopy done, but the doctors cannot find a problem.
i constantly have pelvic discomfort in my left front, below the belt.
the feeling is intensified when i wait too long to defecate or urinate, when i run, or when i lift all day at work. i had spasms a few months ago, which made my bowels push really hard by themselves, this also made the feeling intense for weeks. it is only mildly painful once in a while. any ideas? thank you for taking the time to help! mikeecskii@yahoo.com

all right, you get all prepped up for your surgery and are wheeled into the surgery room on a gurney. then they line the gurney up to a really, really narrow flat table. you scoot yourself over to that table, which does not even have arms on it.

why is this table-bed so small and narrow? when your surgery is underway, what purpose would such a narrow bed serve? do they have "arms" that come out from the bottom of it that they put your arms onto? it would make sense, seing that you already have at least one IV running into your arm or hand.

My state requires all techs to be certified and registered with the state board before working so I did all that back in March and started working at Walgreens at the end of May. I didn't have any work experience but I needed a job that I could support myself with. They offered me $10.75/hr promising full time(30-40 hr). Problem: The only people getting full time are the Sr Techs and the Pharmacists. I've been fighting to get my full time in b/c I need it. They promise I'll get my hours when fall starts b/c it gets busy but one of the girls who started off as full time too is only getting 14 hr next week even after talking to the store manager 4 times! I'm starting college in the fall and wondering if I'm cut out for the retail setting.

So, techs, what're the big differences they don't tell you about between retail and hospital?
