Billions of dollars invested and donated every year for Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Alzheimer’s, etc....... and yet nothing. The last time any good has come was a polio vaccine some hundred years ago. But nothing since? Come on....... At least lie to me so I will continue giving money. But seriously, it seems that modern science has done nothing in terms of disease and illness. The future looks horrible, I feel sorry for my children.

to my qestion there were fall precations in place and we feel that they treat the medicare patients far different then private pay now we have to put her in a home what can i do so this dose not happen to anyone else.

I have been looking at online medical dictionaries.
There are so many diseases and conditions.
Do you learn ALL of these things when you are in medical school?
Do you have to know all of these things to be a doctor??

So recently I was reading a magazine that said that women have somehow evolved to have better senses of smell than men, possibly for the sake of detecting threats to unborn babies, or something. They say this is why chicks dig cologne on men more than men dig perfume on chicks.

But when I was in France at a perfume factory tour they were talking about "super noses", people who basically identify and combine scents. And they said that only men were able to be super noses, because women's senses of smell weren't as developed.

So I really hope someone knows -- which gender is better when it comes to smell?

i've heard from many people and many places that it takes a month for marijuana to get out of your system but i want to be for sure..should i take any detox pills or drinks? are they safe and effective? or is there anything else i can do to at home or OTC to clease my body without it showing up in the tests?

I know alcohol and tylenol are a no-no together. However, are other meds safer to take with alcohol? (ie. Ibuprofen) I have heard that since alcohol and tylenol both are metabolized in the liver, it is toxic. While some other drugs are metabolized in the kidneys which make them safer.
