Modern medicine is based on science. Science is a set of rules that keep us from lying to ourselves or others. Modern medicine begins when physicians began cutting people and animals open and seeing what was inside instead of guessing.

Louis Pasteur looked through his microscope and noticed sick people had germs and proposed these germs were the cause of illness. It was a long time before this was accepted as true. Then someone discovered that removing the germs removed the illness. Whopee! We’re off and running.

2)made treatment of every disease affordable and
3) cures many diseases and promising cure for many more.
