I don't know much about omega 3 fatty acid except that it's supposed to be good for the heart, so I don't know why he'd give it to me for my depression? Any thoughts? Scientific evidence?

Flora refers to plant life. Fauna refers to animal life. When describing symbiotic microbial colonies in our intestines, the medical profession uses 'Intestinal Flora', which I find weird since bacteria are animals (use oxygen, exhale CO2) not plants. Why isn't it 'Intestinal Fauna'?

I had asked before about what these medications were as my 86 year old father was given these before a CT scan which he didn't have and these medications did not put him to sleep, but agitated him and made him hallucinate.Within less than 18 hours after being given these injections, he went into distress and passed away. Can someone give me some answers, maybe a physician, if possible.
Thanks

I ask because there are times nurses and others have trouble taking mine. Some say I have "small veins" but others have said that too many medical technicians are just poorly trained. What do you think? Thanks.

I am trying to figure out the term for becoming ill when it's in your mind but your body actually reacts. For instance I ate a raw chicken sandwich (didn't know it was raw) and then when I realized it was raw, I vomitted. I had a physical reaction, or a physiological reaction...what is the correct term for the reaction I had?
