If someone dies during surgery, and the surgery isn't even completed, should the doctor still charge the deceased loved ones the entire cost of the procedure? Or due to ethics, should they write off at the very least, the co-payment (the portion the insurance doesn't cover)

Furthermore, would the insurance even pay for a surgery if someone passes away during it? I would think they wouldn't. Well, then the life insurance policy (if they have one) would pay for it, I guess.

Secondly, what DO most doctors do? What SHOULD they do vs. What DO they do? Do they do what's ethical and write off the costs?

Together with other mutations that have made human beings supposedly "superior", a process so essential for survival of the species is still exceedingly primitive, unconfortable, painful and has hardly been affected by evolution.
Take away the hospital paraphernalia and all women are no better off than any other mammal.
What about some earnest scientific investigation to make coming into this crazy world less stressful for the offspring and the mother? I mean, it is rather horrifying to think something the size of a watermelon gets forced through a hole the size of an olive. What about all the blood and gore? you know, it is pretty tough to recover from all that for mother and child.
Ok, I know that is how it has been all these thousands of years but Geeezzzes does it have to carry on being like that?
That is one of the things that the guys dealing with the Human Genoma should look at. Economically speaking It is already a big dilema to decide to have a child.

I am taking medication an infection and something didn't seem right. I had been taking medication for about 3 days and the instructions say:: use 2 teaspoonfuls, swish and swirl four times a day for 2 weeks. But the problem is, the bottle is almost empty so we didn't think it would last 2 weeks, and there is no refills. So we called the doctor, and it turns out that the pharmacy gave us the wrong dosage per day. Could I sue? How much could I sue for? And under what circumstances?

U know that comatosed patients with 4th degree coma(brain stem death) will never regain their concousness as they lost their higher respiratory functioning center, so they will stay on the ventilator for the rest of their lives, so in our country we have the right to terminate their lives by switching off the ventilators(life support devices) or deprivation of the cardiac muscle support( dopamine, adrenaline) , but after the consent of their family i.e if their family asked to as they cannot afford for the expenses of the ICU stay.....Now this issue is out confusing me as it is lately stired it up again in our country for organ donations issue from the clinically dead donors

Help me the pricking of conscience is killing me .. almost all the doctors r with this idea and consider them almost dead but i am a doctor with no doctor thinking .. Am i wrong or right?

My mom is a vet technician and has all these books that show the animal's muscles and bones that she needs to learn and i was wondering if they have that for humans like a site or book that would allow me to learn the bones and muscles of the human body. I have a great memory and i believe that by learning these early on will really help. Any ideas on this??
