My doctor has had me on Hydrochlorot 25mg for a year now....
my blood pressure went up again so she added Enalapril tab 5 mg.
Is it safe to take these together?

Yes they are commonly used together. You should be able to get them in one pill (Vaseretic). This means you can cut down on the number of pills you have to take and the number of co-pays!

I've been taking these 2 meds together for several years, and have had no side effects at all. The dosages have changed over the years, and now I take 10 mgs of HCTZ and 12 1/2 mgs of Enapril.

Quite safe. As a matter of fact Vaseretic is a combination drug containing these 2 ingredients.
