I had asked before about what these medications were as my 86 year old father was given these before a CT scan which he didn't have and these medications did not put him to sleep, but agitated him and made him hallucinate.Within less than 18 hours after being given these injections, he went into distress and passed away. Can someone give me some answers, maybe a physician, if possible.
Thanks

They can, indeed.
However, both have short plasma lives, so I would say that, if the death was linked to these drugs, it should have occurred much earlier (within 30-60 minutes, I'd say).
The death, in addition, would have been caused by respiratory arrest. Therefore, if the death was preceded by distress, sounds very unlikely drugs had to do anything with it.
What you don't mention is the reason why a CT was done.
I think you should contact your consultant, and review the complete case together.

Almost anything, in the wrong dosage, can cause death, especially at 86 (old bodies are less able to cope) ..

You need to find out exactly how much of each he was given ..

I suggest you then see a Solicitor specialising in medical malpractice and find out if you have a case.
