Before I contract a certified local driller, from the state's list of drillers.. is it worth spending ~$1200 to have a local HydroGeoPhysis tell me where water might be?
I had a dowser locate a spot, but thought I should back up with "science?" I understand the wells in this rural ranch area have been as shallow as 150' and as deep as 1000' with accepatable water flow

The builder is moving the truss to the side about a foot to allow plumbing to come through the floor so now that truss spacing is about 30" between them. He is using 3/4" OSB for the floor. Isn't this going to cause a problem? Please give me some good specific references to building code or product specs if you can. Thank you

The advantage of the Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation versus the Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) one is well known. It is the possibility to transmit in the same frequency band twice more information, while the number of errors and the Eb/No relation are the same. The probability of errors can be estimated as

where erfc is the tabulated error function [1], Eb is the energy per 1 bit, No is the noise spectral density in (W/Hz).
We will show that the above advantage of the QPSK method is not valid under certain conditions which are important for satellite communication system.

I plan on using a Bungy cord and hook it to a harness then hook the bungy cord to the steel cable, I figure you would have to get the cable fairly tight to keep ot from sagging, I have a 1 ton set of come alongs and some turn buckles to tighten. And need to know if 1/4 inches cable will be big enough, The kids are getting older and my 40 foot water slide I made out of plywood a couple of years ago is not very usable most of the summer because our water supply is drying up. And I mented this to them about trying to make it.
Thanks
