It is difficult to control office temperatures to the satisfaction of everyone. Some offices permit the use of small electric space heaters. Some permit only low wattage heaters designed to warm the feet.

Impotant features include listing by an agency such as Underwriters Laboratories, and prohibiting the use of ordinary extension cord. Heavy duty plug strip cords with overcurrent protection are preferred.

So? what do you want to know? Actually there can only be one answer anyway. NO. Most offices start overloading their electrical service within about 2 years due to new equipment added to increase efficiency. Electric space heaters use too much juice to be safe. All others are out due to fumes.
