For example, electrical engineers who have not seen or worked on power generation and distribution, mechanical engineers who do not understand anything about the design and production process and computer engineers who waste 4 years to learn some Java and C programming etc.It is really pathetic that the education system is wasting such young talents.I have met people from Europe,China and Taiwan with 1 or 2 years of vocational training posses the right skills and are most sought after by manufacturers. They don't talk much but they will do an excellent job.

I am considering to cast myself a planing boat out of marine grade concrete - I know they use it for sailboats with displacement hulls, but would it work for a light boat, too?

I want to try to build a non-toxic boat. I am hoping to use canvas and laminate it over a positive mold using a non-chemical resin. Problem is:
I don't know if there are any, and all the boating companies are looking at me funny when I ask. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

I was driving thru the Altamont Pass yesterday and noticed some windmills turning and some not. Three windmills would be turning and the next 4 or 5 windmills in the same row, were not. Why?

I don't even know how many cycles per second my car's alternator makes, do you?

What's the device called (that would make 12 volts @ 20,000 cycles per second), where would one be obtained, and do you know how much the unit would cost?

Thanks for your answer in advance.

Examining my Bic Ultra pen I noticed the cap has a hole in the cap, presumably to let ink flow out in case the pen explodes. Which seems like a bad idea. So perhaps the hole is to prevent pressure which would cause an explosion? Which leads to my question...Why do pens explode?

I am trying to solve a CRE problem. a)CSTR followed by PFR in series. The volumes of both are given, the entering flow rate is given. The conversion of each reactor seperately is equal to .4. We are also give a table with conversion factors and corresponding reaction rates. The question is what conversion can be acheived with these two in a series. Also, what conversion can be achieved if pfr is followed by cstr?
